1Peel the onion, quarter is and add it to the Mixing Bowl
2Chop 5 sec. / Speed 5. Scrape into a separate bowl and set aside
3Add the flour, eggs, milk, salt and sugar into the Mixing Bowl (no need to clean the Mixing Bowl after step 2)
4Mix 10 sec. / Speed 5 (check that you have a smooth mixture without any lumps, otherwise repeat)
5Cut the bacon into small pieces
6Heat up a frying pan and drizzle some oil into it.
7Add a handful of bacon chunks and some of the onion into the frying pan and cook for about a minute
8Now pour the right amount of batter into the pan to cover the bacon and onions (it shouldn't be higher than 2-3m high)
9Cook from both sides until golden brown.
Please note: While most recipes are designed for the TM5 and TM31, some might not fit the older Thermomix model. The TM31 has a lower Mixing Bowl capacity (2 litres) and a smaller Varoma (3 litres).
